You can do this individually for every metric (distance, elevation, temperature etc…) in the app Settings, under the Measurement section.
You’ll receive pretty accurate elevation data if your device does have a barometer sensor. But if it doesn’t the elevation data is retrieved by your GPS signal, which can sometimes have quite inaccurate readings for the current elevation/altitude.
At the moment you can connect bluetooth and ANT+ based Heart Rate monitors and bluetooth based Cadence sensors. Fitbit support is coming soon.
Bluetooth LE and ANT+ based Heart Rate sensors/monitor are compatible with the app. We recommend using a chest strap sensor for the most precise data. Wrist sensors are compatible too, but you might need to adjust the data reading in their respective App Settings (for example you can use the Xiaomi mi band 2 with Bike Computer, but you’ll also need to start an activity in the mi band app, if you want to have continuous heart reading from the band).
At the moment, no. The feature is coming soon though.
Since most devices don’t have a dedicated temperature sensor, the current temperature is determined by communicating your current location to the Dark Sky weather services, for which you need to have an internet connection.
The notification in the status bar indicates a ride in progress. If you want to remove the notification, you’ll need to either stop and save/delete your activity.
You can synchronize your ride with Strava by simply enabling the “Synchronize with Strava” checkbox in the Upload Ride page after finishing a ride. After logging in with Strava (one time) and uploading the ride, you’ll be able to see the activity ride on your Strava timeline. You can also do this on any existing activity, in the Activity Details page, by pressing the Strava button.
After you’ve requested a password reset, you’ll receive instructions on your entered email address in a few minutes. If you requested multiple times to reset your password, please use the last received email, as that one will have the correct token for security reasons, otherwise you’ll receive an invalid token message.
You can unsubscribe at anytime using the App Store or Google Play app, depending whether you are an iOS or Android user respectively.
With Plus you get the Keep Me Safe feature and the Dark Theme. With Pro package, you get everything from Plus, with the addition of a few extra features such as ability to customize the Main Display with even more metrics available and the option to get discount codes for shopping at popular bike shops.
Keep Me Safe detects movements that are similar to the fall behaviour of a bike. If it detects a fall it will start a 30 second countdown that will result in an alert sent to your contacts.
